4 Principles of the method
Different mineral crystals will produce different characteristic X-ray diffraction peaks, and the intensity of these characteristic peaks is positively correlated with the mineral content in the sample.
Prepare a series of standard samples with known attapulgite content and mix them evenly with an equal amount of internal standard substance α-Al2O3 to measure a group of attapulgite phase
The characteristic peak intensity data of the sample to be tested and the internal standard substance α-Al2O3 phase are used to draw the standard working curve.
The attapulgite content in the sample can be obtained by using the quasi-working curve.
The X-ray diffraction pattern of attapulgite clay is shown in Figure 1.
