1 Scope
This document specifies the principles, test environment, materials and equipment, specimens, operating procedures, results, and other aspects of the determination of the strength of reinforcing yarns in cement.
Calculation and test reports.
This document is applicable to the evaluation of alkali resistance of reinforcing yarns such as alkali-resistant glass fiber yarn, basalt fiber yarn, and carbon fiber yarn.
Evaluation of the alkali corrosion resistance of new reinforcing yarn systems and alkaline corrosion of new cement systems. Other reinforcing yarns are used for reference.

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18374 apply to this document.
4 Principle
The reinforcing yarn is wrapped in cement mortar to make a specific form of test specimen, and the cement mortar is cured to harden, and then tested under certain conditions.
Aging treatment. The alkalinity in cement produces alkaline corrosion on the reinforcing yarn and reduces its strength.
The tensile strength is used to evaluate the alkali resistance of the reinforcing yarn or the alkaline corrosion of the reinforcing yarn by the cement system.
5 Test environment
The test should be carried out under laboratory conditions of temperature (23±2)℃ and relative humidity (50±10)%.
