1 Scope

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Low-rank coalbreeze
Low metamorphic degree, non-caking or weakly caking, high-volatile long flame coal, non-caking coal and some lignite with a particle size of less than 30 mm.
3.2
The continuous distillation process of coal in an air-tight environment is carried out by indirect heating.
3.3
The raw coal is continuously loaded from the furnace top and the semi-coke product is continuously discharged from the furnace bottom.
3.4
Coal tar recovery rate
The actual tar yield of the dry distillation unit is compared with the tar yield of the aluminum retort test standard method in percentage.
