1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for the structure, mechanical properties and electrical properties of sound signaling devices for household and similar purposes. This document applies to household and similar uses with a rated voltage not exceeding 250Va.c. or 250Vd.c. and with a rated input power not exceeding 100VA sound signaling devices with integral enclosures and intended to be incorporated in enclosures conforming to GB/T 17466 (all parts) or accompanying Acoustic signaling device provided together with the housing. In these sound signaling devices, it may also include instructions with a rated input power not exceeding 10VA. lights. These products are referred to as "devices" in this document. This document applies to fixed, mobile and plug-in installations for indoor or outdoor use. In places with special conditions, special structures may be required.
