This document is modified to adopt ISO 6101-6.2018 "Determination of Metal Content by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry in Rubber - Part 6.Determination of Magnesium Content
Determination".
The technical differences between this document and ISO 16101-6.2018 and their reasons are as follows.
--- For standard use, "this document is applicable to the magnesium content in natural concentrated latex, natural rubber and natural rubber products" has been added to the scope
determination";
--- In order to improve the use of documents, the sampling method of natural rubber products has been added (see Chapter 7);
--- To harmonize the use of documents, the normative reference document ISO 4661-2 (see Chapter 7) for sampling methods of natural rubber products has been added.
The following editorial changes have been made to this document.
--- In order to coordinate with the existing documents, change the name of the document to "Determination of Magnesium Content in Rubber by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry";
--- For context consistency and coordination, the text structure of "Preparation of samples" has been adjusted (see 8.1.1 and 8.1.3).
