1 Scope

This document specifies the classification, code, model, and structure of gas safety shut-off valves (hereinafter referred to as "shut-off valves") used in urban gas transmission and distribution systems. Structure and materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, quality certification documents, signs, packaging, transportation and storage, installation and use instructions. This document is applicable to the maximum working pressure not greater than 10.0MPa, the nominal size not greater than 400mm, and the working temperature range of -20℃~ Safety shut-off valve for urban gas transmission and distribution system at 60°C.
