This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 406-2008 "cotton color cloth". Compared with GB/T 406-2008, the main technical changes are as follows.

---Intrinsic quality increase per unit area without slurry drying quality deviation rate evaluation index (see 4.3) and test method (see 5.4), density bias

1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and identification, requirements, test and inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of cotton fabrics.
This standard applies to cotton-colored cloth produced by weaving. This standard does not apply to jacquard, cut pile fabrics and special fabrics.

3 Classification and identification
3.1 The product variety and specification classification of cotton color cloth shall be carried out according to the needs of users according to Appendix A.
