Introduction
This document adopts the overall requirements for the structure of composite multi-hull yachts, aluminum alloy multi-hull yachts, and steel multi-hull yachts, and local structure definitions
As well as the description of the calculation methods of the structural dimensions of each part, it can effectively guide the design of the multi-hull yacht and improve the design efficiency of the yacht design unit.
Rates are conducive to improving the international competitiveness of related products.
GB/T 40528 "Regulations on the Structural Dimensions of Multi-hull Yachts" is intended to be composed of three parts.
---Part 1.Composite materials;
---Part 2.Aluminum alloy;
---Part 3.Steel.
Multi-hull yacht structure size regulations
Part 1.composite materials
1 Scope
This document specifies the overall structural requirements and the specific size requirements of each part of the composite multi-hull large yacht, including the minimum plate thickness requirements,
Hull shell, outer frame, single bottom structure and auxiliary components, double bottom structure, bulkhead and deep tank, deck structure and superstructure, deck
The size requirements and calculation methods of chambers, bulwarks and pillars.
This document is applicable to the design, manufacture and inspection of composite multi-hull large yachts with a length of 24m and above.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 3961-2009 apply to this document.
3.1
Bottomoutboard
The area formed by the outer edge of the bottom plate keel of a high-speed yacht up to the tangent point on the outside of the cabin floor.
Note 1.For high-speed yachts, the size of the bottom structure of the boat depends on the impact pressure during high-speed sailing.
The outer edge of the bottom plate keel of displacement yachts and semi-displacement yachts to the position 150mm above the outer bilge angle or the static waterline
Constitute the area.
Note 2.For displacement yachts and semi-displacement yachts, the bottom structure size depends on the hydrostatic buoyancy and pitch pressure.
3.2
Inboard bottom plate bottominboard
The area formed by the outer edge of the bottom plate keel of a high-speed yacht up to the tangent point on the inner side of the cabin floor.
Note 1.For high-speed yachts, the size of the bottom structure of the boat depends on the impact pressure during high-speed sailing.
The inner edge of the bottom plate keel of displacement yachts and semi-displacement yachts up to the inner bilge line or the position 150mm above the static waterline
Constitute the area.
Note 2.For displacement yachts and semi-displacement yachts, the bottom structure size depends on the hydrostatic buoyancy and pitch pressure.
3.3
Cross-deck
The bridge structure of the upper part of two adjacent hulls.
3.4
Haunch
The transition part between the connecting bridge (3.3) and the hull shell on the inboard side.
