1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the content of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipes and fittings based on the total chlorine content.

3 Principle

4 Reagents and materials

4.2 Silver nitrate standard titration solution, c(AgNO3)=0.1mol/L.

4.4 Potassium hydroxide solution, 10g/L.
4.5 Hydrogen peroxide solution, 300g/L.

4.7 Acetic acid, purity ≥99.5%.
4.8 Oxygen.
