1 Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the shear strength of foam structural hoses. This standard applies to the determination of the shear strength of foamed adhesive pipes for honeycomb sandwich structures made of metal, non-metal and composite materials.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 2943 apply to this document. 3.1 Pipe shear strength Shear strength measured by casing bonding method.

4 Principle

The two concentric inner and outer pipes are glued together by filling rubber between the sleeves to form a sample. Then cut the casing into a test piece of a certain length. Fix the outer tube of the test piece with the bottom clamp, press the inner tube out along the axial direction with the test mold, and divide the stress value by the outer surface area of the inner tube to obtain the tube shear strength.

5 Equipment and materials

5.1 Universal material testing machine. The relative error of the load should not be greater than 1%. 5.2 Test instrument. the accuracy is ±0.05mm. 5.3 Casing. The material is a cold drawn aluminum alloy round tube, and the chemical composition meets the requirements of GB/T 3190. The sleeve is composed of an outer tube and an inner tube of equal length. The inner tube and the outer tube are made of long tubes with a tube length of at least (80±1) mm, which are machined. There are 2 types of size specifications. a) The outer diameter of the outer tube is (25.0±0.1) mm and the wall thickness is (2.0±0.1) mm; the outer diameter of the inner tube is (12.0±0.1) mm and the wall thickness is (2.0±0.1) mm.
