1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification of general solid waste, the rules for the compilation of classification codes, and examples of classification codes. This standard applies to general solid waste collection, storage, packaging, transportation, treatment, utilization, disposal and related management processes. This standard does not apply to the related management process of unsorted domestic waste and construction solid waste in general solid waste.
