1 Scope
This standard specifies the principles, reagents, reagents, and methods for the determination of boric acid and borate in toothpaste by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry.

3 Principle
The sample to be tested is extracted with 5% nitric acid solution and cleaned by C18 solid phase extraction column, and then inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer is used.
Determination, quantification by internal standard method.
4 Reagent
Unless otherwise specified, the water used in this test is the first grade water specified in GB/T 6682.
4.1 Nitric acid. superior grade pure.
4.2 Mannitol. Premium grade pure.
4.3 Methanol. chromatographically pure.
4.4 Nitric acid solution (5%, volume fraction). Pipette 50mL of nitric acid accurately (see 4.1) and put it in the right amount of water, then add water to dilute to 1000mL.
4.5 Yttrium standard solution (internal standard). used as an internal standard, directly using the element standard solution with the standard substance certificate within the validity period, the standard solution is concentrated
The degree is 100 μg/mL.
4.6 Boric acid standard product (CAS No. 10043-35-3). purity ≥98%.
4.7 Boric acid standard stock solution I (1000μg/mL). Weigh about 0.1g (accurate to 0.01mg) of boric acid standard (see 4.6) in 100mL plastic

4.8 Boric acid standard stock solution II (100μg/mL). Pipette 1.0mL boric acid standard stock solution I (see 4.7) to 10mL plastic volume
In the bottle, dilute to the mark with nitric acid solution (see 4.4) and mix well.
4.9 Boric acid standard working solution. Pipette appropriate amount of boric acid standard stock solution II (see 4.8) into 25mL plastic colorimetric tube, add
25μL yttrium standard solution (see 4.5), formulated with nitric acid solution (see 4.4) into a series of concentrations 0.4μg/mL, 1.0μg/mL, 2.0μg/mL,
