The production of wet-process phosphoric acid is mainly the decomposition of phosphate ore by sulfuric acid. The production of phosphate fertilizer is the reaction of sulfuric acid or phosphoric acid with phosphate ore.
The fluorine-containing exhaust gas (the main component is silicon tetrafluoride) is absorbed by water to form a fluorosilicic acid waste liquid.
