Foreword
GB/T 3810 "ceramic tile test method" is divided into 16 parts.
- Part 1. Sampling and receiving conditions;
- Part 2. Inspection of dimensions and surface quality;
- Part 3. Determination of water absorption, apparent porosity, apparent relative density and bulk density;
- Part 4. Determination of fracture modulus and failure strength;
- Part 5. Determining the impact resistance of a brick with a recovery factor;
- Part 6. Determination of wear depth of unglazed tiles;
- Part 7. Determination of abrasion resistance of glazed tiles;
- Part 8. Determination of linear thermal expansion;
- Part 9. Determination of thermal shock resistance;
- Part 10. Determination of wet expansion;
- Part 11. Determination of glaze resistance of glazed tiles;
- Part 12. Determination of frost resistance;
- Part 13. Determination of resistance to chemical corrosion;
- Part 14. Determination of resistance to contamination;
- Part 15. Determination of lead and cadmium elution of glazed tiles;
- Part 16. Determination of small chromatic aberration.
This part is part 2 of GB/T 3810.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 3810.2-2006 "Test methods for ceramic tiles Part 2. Inspection of dimensions and surface quality". versus
GB/T 3810.2-2006 compared to the main changes are as follows.
- modified scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2006 edition);
- Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 2);
--- modify the edge of the straightness of the formula (see 2.1,.2006 version 4.1.1);
--- modified the straight angle of the formula (see 2.2, version 5.1.1);
- Modification of the representation of the size deviation (see 2.5, 4.5, 6.5, 2.5 of 2.5, 4.5, 5.5);
- modified the definition of "glaze" (see 8.1.2 of 2.8 and.2006);
- modified the definition of "bump" (see 8.1.10 of 2.16,.2006);
- an increase in the definition of "throwing marks" (see 2.20);
- Modification of the dimensions of some of the products (see Chapter 7, Chapter 8, Chapter 7 of the.2006 edition).
This part uses the re-drafting method to modify ISO 10545-2..1995 "Ceramic tiles Part 2. Inspection of dimensions and surface quality"
(English version).
The main differences between this part and ISO 10545-2..1995 are as follows.
--- Standard name changed to "Test method for ceramic tiles Part 2. Inspection of dimensions and surface quality";
- Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 2);
- incorporated into the technical bulletin 10545-2..1995/Cor.l..1997 published in.1997, the original term "6.1.2 edge bending
"6.1.2 center curvature" is replaced by "6.1.2 edge curvature" (see 2.4, 2.5);
- an increase in the definition of "throwing marks" (see 2.20);
- increased "convex and concave measurements" (see Chapter 8);
- Added "measurement of the difference in the length of the pair and the difference in the length of the diagonal" (see Chapter 9).

Test method for ceramic tiles
Part 2. inspection of dimensions and surface quality
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 3810 specifies the size (length, width, thickness, edge straightness, straight angle, surface roughness) of the ceramic tile and table
Inspection of surface quality.
Spaced flanges, glaze bubbles and other edge irregularities If the bricks are concealed in the gray seam, then the length, width,
Edge straightness and straight angle can be ignored.
2 terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1
Straightness straightness
In the plane of the brick, the center of the center deviates from the deviation of the line.
This measurement is only applicable to the straight edge of the brick, see Figure 1, the results expressed as a percentage, see formula (1).
Edge straightness =
L x 100%
(1)
Where.
C - the deviation of the center of the measuring edge from the straight line, in millimeters (mm);
L - Length of measurement, in millimeters (mm).
Edge straightness =
Figure 1 edge straightness
2.2
Straight angle deviation fromrectangularity
Place a corner of the brick against the right angle corrected with the standard plate, see Figure 2, the deviation of the angle from the standard right angle.
The straight angle is expressed as a percentage, see equation (2).
