Determination of metallothionein content in biological samples
1 Scope
This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-tandem mass of rabbit-derived metallothionein type I and type II (MT-I and MT-II) in biological samples.
Spectral method.
This standard applies to the determination of the total content of rabbit metallothionein type I and type II in biological samples such as biological agents or biological extracts.
The detection limit of this method is 6.2 mg/kg.

4 Principle
The sample was digested by trypsin to produce a characteristic peptide, and the content of the characteristic peptide in the sample was determined by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.
The relative molecular mass ratio of the average molecular mass of MT-I and MT-II to the characteristic peptide was 3.16, and the MT-I in the sample was calculated.
