Optical radiation safety requirements
1 Scope
This standard specifies the general requirements, hazard categories, and assessment of optical radiation for active lighting components (hereinafter referred to as "fill light") of video surveillance systems.
Requirements and control measures.
This standard is applicable to the development, installation, maintenance and use of LEDs, xenon lamps and other fill lamps with emission wavelengths from.200nm to 1400nm. its
His type of fill light can be implemented with reference to this standard.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 20145-2006 apply to this document.
3.1
Video surveillance system active lighting components activelightingunitsofvideosurveilancesystems
Fill light
A fill light device for enhancing the effect of a video surveillance camera capturing an image.
Note 1. The fill light in this standard includes products integrated with video surveillance cameras and independent of video surveillance cameras.
Note 2. The fill light in this standard has two modes of operation. pulse emission and continuous emission. Their corresponding fill lights are called pulse fill light and continuous emission.
Fill light.
3.2
Reachable emission limit accessibleemissionlimit
AEL
The maximum possible light emission allowed within the specified category.
3.3
Up to light emission accessibleopticalemission
Under reasonable and foreseeable conditions of use, the human eye may be exposed to light radiation from a fill light.
Note. The available light emission can be compared to the emission limit to determine the hazard category of the fill light.
3.4
Opposite angle angularsubtense
The angle of view produced by the source of the view at the observer's eye or measurement point.
