1 Scope
This standard specifies the basic technical requirements for the selection and installation of safety relief devices for pressure vessels, industrial pipes and other pressure-bearing equipment.
This standard is applicable to safety relief devices for pressure vessels, industrial pipelines, etc.
This standard does not apply to the following pressure equipment.
---Boiler, gas cylinder, oxygen chamber, non-metallic pressure equipment;
--- Pressure equipment for military equipment and nuclear facilities;
---Aerospace vehicles, railway locomotives, offshore installations and ships, and pressure equipment used underground in mines;
--- During the operation process, pressure equipment may be generated, and the pressure is increased when the reaction speed reaches the detonation.
Note. Detonation means that the burning speed is extremely fast, reaching more than 1000m/s, which is completely different from the normal detonation.
