4 background
Planting plants are the host of transmission of harmful organisms, and the risk of carrying harmful organisms is higher than other restrictions. For entry or domestic transfers
When planting plants for on-site inspection, it is difficult to find pests due to the following conditions, so comprehensive management measures are required.
Implement pest management to ensure that the planting plants that are imported or domestically transported meet the phytosanitary requirements of China.
--- Some pests do not cause visible symptoms, especially if they occur in small quantities.
--- At the time of on-site inspection, the symptoms are in the incubation period or the symptoms are covered up (such as due to the use of pesticides, nutritional imbalance, delivery when planting
The object is in a dormant period, the presence of other non-quarantine pests, the leaves with symptoms are removed, etc.).
--- Small insects or eggs are hidden under the scales or bark of plant buds.
--- The packaging type, specifications and physical conditions of the goods affect the inspection results.
--- Many pests, especially pathogens, may lack detection methods.
