3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions, as defined by International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) No. 5, apply to this document.
3.1
Pest pest
Any species, strain, or biotype of plants, animals, and pathogens that are harmful to plants or plant products.
3.2
Quarantine pest quarantinepest
Potentially economically important to a particular area, but not yet existing or existing in the area but not widely distributed and under official control
