1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classifications, symbols and grades, general requirements, and techniques for cold rolled oriented electrical steel strips for UHV transformers.
Requirements, inspection and testing, re-inspection and determination, packaging, marking and quality certificates.
This standard is applicable to the manufacture of cold-rolled oriented electrical steel for AC converters of 500kV and above and DC converters of ±400kV and above.

4 classification
The grade of the steel strip is based on the magnetic polarization of 1.7T, the maximum specific loss value of P1.7/50 at 50Hz, and the nominal thickness of the material.
(0.23mm, 0.27mm, 0.30mm) is classified and subdivided into high magnetic polarization level and magnetic domain fine according to the maximum specific loss value P1.7/50.
