Impervious graphite equipment corrosion control engineering
Full life cycle requirements
1 Scope
This standard specifies the general principles, objectives, corrosion sources, materials, and techniques for corrosion prevention of impervious graphite equipment throughout the life cycle of corrosion control engineering.
Surgery, development, design, manufacture, construction and installation, loading and unloading, storage and transportation, commissioning, acceptance, operation, test and inspection, maintenance, repair, life extension,
Resources, scrapping, post-event green environmental protection early warning, documentation and records, and assessment of general requirements for each control element.
This standard applies to the management of related activities throughout the life cycle of corrosion control engineering for various types of impervious graphite equipment.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Impervious graphite imperviousgraphite
A graphite material that does not penetrate gas or liquid phase at the current industrial level.
Note. Impervious graphite includes impregnated graphite, pressed (including extruded and molded) graphite, cast graphite and composite graphite.
3.2
Graphite material graphiteite
After coke or graphite powder and particles and asphalt are mixed, extruded, molded (or vibrated), and then heated at a temperature of about 2400 ° C ~ 3000 ° C
A graphitized material formed underneath.
3.3
Impregnated graphite impregnatedgraphite
Graphite formed by pressing an organic or inorganic liquid material (impregnant) into the pores of the transparent graphite material and solidifying it in the pores.
Note 1. Different varieties are formed due to the difference in the impregnating agent used to increase the permeability resistance of the material.
Note 2. The most widely used industrial grade is phenolic impregnated graphite impregnated with phenolic resin, followed by furan impregnated graphite and epoxy resin impregnated
Graphite, polytetrafluoroethylene impregnated graphite, water glass impregnated graphite, and the like.
3.4
Impregnation agent
A material that is impermeable to carbon or graphite materials by a curing process.
3.5
Graphite binder graphitebondingagent
A mixture of graphite powder and resin.
