GB/T 37364 aims to establish basic methods for surveying terrestrial wildlife and their habitats.
GB/T 37364 is intended to consist of 9 parts.
--- Part 1.Guidelines. The purpose is to provide basic terminology and general requirements for surveys of terrestrial wildlife and their habitats.
--- Part 2.Survey zoning. The purpose is to provide a zoning scheme for surveying terrestrial wildlife and their habitats and the names of each unit.

5.1 Preliminary investigation
