Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 3714-1983 "manganese carbonate ore technical conditions." 1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification of manganese carbonate minerals, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation and quality certificates. This standard applies to the production of electrolytic manganese metal, manganese dioxide, manganese and other products used in raw materials manganese carbonate.
