1 Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for SSD performance, performance, and data consistency and data retention.
This standard applies to the testing of SSDs with flash memory as the storage unit.
2 Terms and Definitions, Abbreviations

Solid state disk
A storage device that reads and writes data using an electronic memory or a memory module as a main recording medium.
