High performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry
1 Scope
This standard specifies the determination of gibberellic acid in fertilizers by high performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry.
This standard is applicable to the determination of gibberellic acid in fertilizers such as water-soluble fertilizers, compound fertilizers (composite fertilizers) and blended fertilizers.
The detection limit of gibberellic acid in the method is 0.1 mg/kg, and the limit of quantification is 0.5 mg/kg.

4.3 Formic acid. chromatographically pure.
4.4 Formic acid-methanol solution. Accurately transfer 1.0 mL of formic acid (4.3) and dilute to 1 L with methanol (4.2).
4.5 Formic acid solution. Accurately transfer 1.0 mL of formic acid (4.3) and dilute to 1 L with water.
4.6 Initial mobile phase. Formic acid-methanol solution (4.4) and formic acid solution (4.5) are mixed uniformly in a ratio of 1.9, and are now ready for use.
