1 Scope
This document specifies the basic requirements for the transportation of live aquatic products, as well as the technical requirements for transportation management and records, and describes the corresponding
method.
This document applies to the transportation of live fish, live shrimp, live shellfish and live crabs.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
transportation in cabin with circulating water
A transport ship with a fish tank below the waterline is used, and holes are evenly opened in the upper, middle and lower layers of the tank to communicate with the outside water.
It is a way of transporting live fish in which water is taken in from a small hole in the front and discharged from the back during navigation, so that the water quality in the water tank is kept fresh and stable.
4 Basic Requirements
4.1 The aquatic products to be transported should be free of disease, pollution, and vitality, and should be inspected by batch, with inspection reports or certificates of conformity.
If there are qualification certification materials, they should be purchased after passing the batch inspection.
4.2 The water quality for transportation and temporary storage should comply with the requirements of GB 11607.If temporary storage seawater is required, it should comply with the requirements of QB/T 4972.

4.3 The mode, means of transport and time of transport shall be determined according to the type, characteristics, season and quantity of aquatic products.
4.4 The transportation process should be equipped with temperature monitoring equipment, and water-carrying and water-free transportation should also be equipped with dissolved oxygen and relative humidity monitoring equipment respectively.
4.5 The means of transport, materials and containers should be clean and sanitary, and the moisturizing materials should be light in weight, absorbent and have good moisturizing properties.
4.6 When transporting for a long time, it is advisable to equip special transport facilities with functions such as temperature control devices, water circulation (filtration) or oxygenation.

Live fish should be temporarily kept for 1 to 2 days before shipment. They can be kept in cages, pools or ponds. The density depends on the species.
