3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Rain glaze The supercooled water droplets with large particle diameters collide with the surface of objects with a temperature of 0°C and below, forming a glassy transparent or matte surface with rough Ice cover. The ice is transparent and strong, with high density and strong adhesion. 3.2 Haze softrime The supercooled water droplets with smaller particle diameters, which float with the airflow, collide with the surface of an object with a temperature of 0°C or less and are instantly frozen into small ice particles. Ice grain There are pores between, with white appearance and granular structure, low density, weak adhesion. 3.3 Mixed 凇hardrime The supercooled water droplets of different particle sizes float with the air flow. At the moment of collision, some are rainy and some are hazy. Translucent ice Shape, medium density, with a certain degree of adhesion. 3.4 Rainy day glazeday The date of the rainstorm. 3.5 Smoky day rimeday The date of haze.
