1 Scope
This standard specifies the procedures and methods for the investigation and monitoring of citrus canker disease caused by citrus Xanthomonas citrus subspecies.
This standard applies to the monitoring of the outbreak of citrus canker.

3 Monitoring basis
Citrus canker is caused by Xanthomnas citrisubsp.citri (see Appendix A).

Xanthomonadaceae, Xanthomonas, is an agricultural phytosanitary endangering citrus, tangerine, orange and other Rutaceae plants.

4 Preparation for monitoring
