Sugarcane drought disaster rating
1 Scope
This standard specifies the sugarcane drought disaster indicators and grading.
This standard applies to China's sugar cane production areas of drought cane investigation, monitoring, early warning and assessment.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1
Sugarcane drought disaster droughtofsugarcane
Due to soil drought or atmospheric drought, it is difficult for roots of sugar cane to absorb moisture absorbed from the soil to compensate for transpiration, leaving the plant body moisture
Unbalanced income and expenditure, the normal growth and development of sugarcane are affected and even died, and eventually lead to reduced production and lower quality.
2.2
Describe the level of cane drought disaster.
3 classification and indicators
3.1 classification
The level of sugarcane drought disaster is divided into 4 grades, namely 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively. The corresponding types of drought disaster are mild drought, moderate drought, heavy drought and special drought.
The soil relative humidity index, sugarcane water deficit anomaly index and sugarcane morphological index were used to define.
3.2 Level Indicators
3.2.1 Sugarcane drought hazard rating based on soil relative humidity index (Rsm)
The rank of soil relative humidity index (Rsm) is shown in Table 1.
The calculation method of soil relative humidity index is shown in Appendix A.
Table 1 Disaster rating based on soil relative humidity index (Rsm)
Level type
Soil relative humidity index
1 light drought 60≤Rsm < 65
2 drought 55 ≤ Rsm < 60
3 Drought 45 ≤ Rsm < 55
4 special drought Rsm < 45
3.2.2 Sugarcane drought disaster rating based on the index of water deficit
The grades of the water deficit anomaly index (CWDIa) are shown in Table 2.
