1 Scope
GB/T 34499 provisions of this part of iridium compounds in the determination of iridium.
This section applies to Iridium chloride acid (H2IrCl6), iridium chloride (IrCl3), iridium tetrachloride (IrCl4), ammonium chloride Iridium [(NH4) 2IrCl6], vinegar
Determination of amount of iridium in iridium [Ir (OAC) 3], iridium acetylacetonate (IrC15H21O6). Measurement range .8% ~ 60%.
2 method principle
The sample was treated with nitric acid, hydrochloric acid - hydrogen peroxide into a solution, in hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid medium titration with standard ferrous sulfate titration solution iridium
(Ⅳ), the selected potential of 0.50V, current method indicates the end.
3 reagents and materials reagents
Unless otherwise specified, only reagents that are identified as analytically pure and secondary water are used in the analysis.
3.1 potassium chlorate (excellent grade pure).
3.2 Hydrochloric acid (p = 1.19 g/mL).
3.3 Nitric acid (p = 1.42 g/mL).
3.4 hydrogen peroxide (30%, volume fraction)
3.5 Sulfuric acid (1 1).
3.6 Sulfuric acid (4 96).
3.7 saturated sodium chloride solution.
3.8 Sodium chlorate solution (100g/L).
3.9 standard ferrous sulfate titration solution [c (FeSO4 · 7H2O) about 0.0011mol/L].
Weigh 0.318g ferrous sulfate, dissolved in 1000mL sulfuric acid solution (3.6), and mix.
Calibration. Calibration and determination of the sample parallel.
Pipette 10.00mL iridium standard solution of 3 were placed in 100mL high-type beaker, add 1 drop of sodium chlorate solution (3.8), 5mL salt
Acid (3.2), mix well, let stand for about 10min. Add 0.2mL sodium chloride saturated solution (3.7), 5mL sulfuric acid solution (3.5), add water to the total volume
About 30mL. Into the blow pipe, on the blowing device with a flow of air about 1L/min 1L/min air blowing 10min. Rinse the blow with about 10 mL of water
Tube and high beaker wall, then blow 10min. Remove and transfer the solution into a 150 mL beaker. Rinse the blow pipe and high-type burns with about 5 mL of water
