This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 34480-2017 "Aluminum Alloy Forgings Made from Injection Formed Ingots" and is consistent with GB/T 34480-2017
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Added 7050, 7175, 7A85 forgings and 7055T73 forgings to the product classification (see 4.1), deleted 7085T74 and
7085T76 forgings (see 3.1.1 of the.2017 edition);
b) Marks and examples have been changed (see 4.2, 3.1.2 of the.2017 version);
c) Increased the room temperature tensile mechanical properties of 7050, 7175, 7A85 forgings and 7055T73 forgings (see 5.3);
d) Added fracture toughness requirements for 7050, 7055, 7085, and 7A85 forgings (see 5.5);
e) Added the electrical conductivity requirements for 7050, 7175, 7085T7452, 7A85 forgings and 7055T73 forgings (see 5.6), deleted
Conductivity requirements for 7085T74 and 7085T76 forgings (see 3.7 of the.2017 edition);
f) Added the stress corrosion sensitivity factor of 7050 forgings and the stress corrosion resistance performance requirements of 7050, 7085 and 7A85 forgings (see

1 Scope
This document specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, and product qualification of high-strength and high-toughness Al-Zn-Mg-Cu aluminum alloy forgings.
Identification, process control, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificate and order form (or contract) content.
This document applies to high-strength and high-toughness Al-Zn-Mg-Cu aluminum alloy die forgings, free forgings and rolled rings (hereinafter collectively referred to as forgings).
