1 Scope
This standard specifies the method of determination of saponification value of the feed oil.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Saponification value saponificationvalue
Millions of potassium hydroxide required to saponify the fat contained in 1 g of feed under specified conditions.

Oil samples were extracted with petroleum ether, and the oil was saponified by boiling with potassium hydroxide-ethanol solution under reflux conditions. Alkalinity

5 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise specified, use only reagents that are identified as analytically pure in the analysis and grade 3 water that meets the requirements of GB/T 6682.
5.1 petroleum ether boiling range 30 ℃ ~ 60 ℃.

5.3 Ethanol .95%.
5.4 Potassium hydroxide - ethanol solution (0.05mol/L). Weigh 2g of potassium hydroxide, placed in a polyethylene container, with 1000mL95% ethanol

5.5 hydrochloric acid standard solution Ⅰ.c (HCl) = 0.5mol/L, prepared and calibrated according to GB/T 601.
5.6 hydrochloric acid standard solution Ⅱ.c (HCl) = 0.05mol/L, accurately remove 100mL hydrochloric acid standard solution Ⅰ (5.5), the water boiled 15min
After cooling, use this non-carbon dioxide water to volume 1000mL, now with the current use.
5.7 Basic Blue 6B indicator (20 g/L) Weigh 2 g of Basic Blue 6B in 100 mL of 95% ethanol (5.3).
