This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required. This document replaces GB/T 33955-2017 "Wire rope for mine hoisting". 1 Scope

This document specifies the classification and marking, ordering content, materials, technical requirements, Inspection and test methods, qualification criteria, acceptance and arbitration, packaging, marking and quality certificates. This document is applicable to round, special-shaped and compacted wire ropes for coal, metal, non-metal and other mine hoisting and supporting equipment. This document does not apply to steel wire ropes for coal, metal, non-metallic and other mine balance and sealed steel wire ropes for shaft tankways.
