This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 16271-2009 "Wire Rope Sling Braided Cable Buckle". A list of these technical differences and their reasons is given in Appendix B. 1 Scope

This document specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage and transportation of wire rope slings. Transport, selection and use. This document is applicable to six-strand round-strand interlaced wire rope slings of manual folding, manual plug-in and mechanical folding.
