This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document replaces GB/T 16271-2009 "Wire Rope Sling Braided Cable Buckle". Compared with GB/T 16271-2009, except for the structural adjustment
In addition to the integration and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Changed the description of the scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2009 edition);
--- Changed the terms and definitions (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2009 edition);
--- Changed the classification of wire rope braided shackles and added the classification of braided shackle slings (see 4.2, 4.3, 4.2 of the.2009 edition);
--- Changed the requirements for wire rope selection (see 5.1.1, 5.1.1 of the.2009 edition);
--- Added the requirement that the wire rope should not be loose (see 5.1.3);
--- Added general requirements and other requirements for insertion operations (see 5.2.1, 5.2.4);
--- Increased requirements for buckle size (see 5.4);

This document is modified to adopt ISO 8794.2020 "Sling buckles for braided wire ropes".
Compared with ISO 8794.2020, this document has many structural adjustments. The comparison table of the structural number changes between the two documents is shown in
Appendix A.
This document has many technical differences compared to ISO 8794.2020.
A list of these technical differences and their reasons is given in Appendix B.
The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

1 Scope
This document specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage and transportation of wire rope slings.
Transport, selection and use.
This document is applicable to six-strand round-strand interlaced wire rope slings of manual folding, manual plug-in and mechanical folding.
The splicing of other multi-strand wire ropes can also be carried out by reference.
