Introduction
GB/T 3074 aims to standardize the determination methods of relevant technical indicators of carbon materials and is intended to consist of the following four parts.
Part 1.Method for determination of flexural strength of carbon materials. The purpose is to standardize the determination of flexural strength of carbon materials.
Part 2.Determination of elastic modulus of carbon materials. The purpose is to standardize the determination of elastic modulus of carbon materials.
Part 3.Determination of the oxidizability of carbon materials. The purpose is to standardize the determination of the oxidizability of carbon materials.
Part 4.Determination method of thermal expansion coefficient (CTE) of carbon materials. The purpose is to standardize the thermal expansion coefficient of carbon materials.

4.Determination methods
4.1 Method 1.Resonance method
4.1.1 Principle
The transmitting sensor converts the electrical signal into a vibration signal to drive the sample, which is then received and converted into an electrical signal by the receiving sensor.
The graph formed by the signal on the oscilloscope is used to obtain the natural frequency of the sample and the elastic modulus of the sample is calculated.
4.1.2 Instruments and equipment
4.1.2.1 Exciter. Electrical energy/mechanical energy used to excite the resonance of the specimen.
4.1.2.2 Receiver. Mechanical energy/electrical energy, used to receive the resonance signal of the sample.
4.1.2.3 Driving circuit. provides audio sinusoidal electrical signals.
4.1.2.4 Detection circuit. Amplifies and displays the electrical signal from the receiver.
4.1.2.5 Specimen holder. for placing specimens.
4.1.2.6 Vernier caliper. measuring range 0 mm to.200 mm, graduation value 0.02 mm.
4.1.2.7 Air drying oven. room temperature ~.200 ℃.
