Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard uses redrafted law revision of international standards ISO 24034.2010 "welding titanium and titanium alloy material with a solid fusion welding
Wire and wire filling procedures "(in English).
This standard with ISO 24034. main technical differences and their reasons for 2010 are as follows.
--- Delete references to normative documents referenced international standards ISO 80000-1.2009;
--- Remove the normative references to international standards ISO 544 and file referenced in ISO 14344, our country has a direct reference to the corresponding conversion
Domestic standards;
--- Appendix B of American Standard to its valid version AWSA5.16/A5.16M.2013. Japanese standard wire models
Press JISZ3331.2011 has been adjusted.
This standard and ISO 24034.2010 as compared to, for ease of use, the structure changes as follows.
--- By the models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certification be written.
This standard also made the following editorial changes.
--- The "this International Standard" by "this standard";
--- Deleted international standards foreword;
--- Standard name changed to "titanium and titanium alloy wire."
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee welded (SAC/TC55) and focal points.

Titanium and titanium alloy wire
1 Scope
This standard specifies the titanium and titanium alloy solid wires and filler wire models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and
Quality certificate.
This standard applies to metal inert gas shielded arc welding (MIG), tungsten inert gas shielded arc welding (TIG), plasma arc welding and
Laser welding and other welding titanium and titanium alloy solid wires and filler wire (hereinafter referred to as wire).
2 Normative references

3 Models
3.1 Model divided
Wire models according to their chemical composition is divided.
3.2 Model Methodology
Wire model consists of two parts.
a) The first part indicates the product category, with "STi" represents titanium and titanium alloy wire;
b) The second part of the four-digit model wire classification (Table 1). Wherein the first two digits indicate the alloy category, the last two digits table
Adjusting the same category are shown in the basic alloy alloys, see Appendix A description.
In addition to these mandatory classification code, the second part of the four-digit number in brackets after the form of additional wire allow the chemical composition of the code shown in Table 1.
Model main international standards between the control see Appendix B.
3.3 Model Example
STi
It represents titanium and titanium alloy wire
Model classification indicates wire
(TiAl6V4B)
Optional additional code, the code represents the chemical composition of the wire
