This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 3007-2006 "refractory water content test method", compared with GB/T 3007-2006, the main technology
The changes are as follows.
--- Increased reference standard GB/T 4513.2, GB/T 4513.3 and GB/T 10325;
--- Graduation value of the electronic balance from "0.001g" to "indexing value to reach the specimen sample size of one ten thousandth";
--- Increasing the shape of refractory products and amorphous refractory samples;
--- 105 ℃ ~ 110 ℃ drying time from "2h" to "at least 2h"; repeat drying time from "15min" to "at least
30min ";
--- Chapter 7 Add Note 2 "If the sample size is large, should ensure that the appropriate weighing accuracy"; increase the detection of unshaped refractory material;
--- Added "test results in accordance with GB/T 8170 revised to a decimal."

1 Scope
This standard specifies the definition of refractory water content, principles, equipment, sampling, test procedures, the results of calculations and test reports.
This standard applies to the determination of water content of refractory raw materials and products.
This standard does not apply to refractory materials containing volatile organic compounds at the measured temperature.
