1 Scope
This standard specifies a high performance liquid chromatographic method in cosmetics zinc phenolsulfonate.
This standard applies to liquid, shampoos, creams, wax-based, loose powder cosmetics category Zinc phenolsulfonate determination.
The standard for the detection and quantitation limit of zinc phenolsulfonate. agent class and the class shampoo sample detection limit of 24mg/kg, the limit of quantification
30mg/kg; Cream and wax base class sample detection limit of 120mg/kg, the limit of quantification of 140mg/kg; shedding sample detection limit of class

By solvent extraction of the sample, after centrifugation, was measured by HPLC retention time qualitative, external standard.
4 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise specified, the reagents were of analytical grade. Water as a water GB/T 6682 regulations.
4.1 acetonitrile. chromatography.
4.2 tetrahydrofuran. chromatography.
4.3 40% tetrabutyl ammonium hydroxide solution (volume fraction).
4.4 sodium dihydrogen phosphate.
4.5 phosphoric acid solution (0.5%). precise amount of 5mL phosphate in 1L flask with water to volume, mix standby.
4.6 20% aqueous acetonitrile solution. precise amount of 20mL and 80mL acetonitrile and water, mix and reserve.
4.7 80% aqueous acetonitrile. precise amount of 80mL and 20mL acetonitrile and water, mix and reserve.
Zinc phenolsulfonate 4.8 Standard substance. Formula C12H10O8S2Zn, CAS No. 127-82-2, purity of not less than 99%, see attached formula
