1 Scope
This standard specifies the method of atomic absorption spectrometry rubber products using cadmium content.
This standard applies to the determination of cadmium in rubber products, especially rubber tires measured cadmium content.

Determination of GB/T 4498 Rubber ash

Halogen-free samples by dry ashing. Halogen-containing sample with sulfuric and nitric acid for processing, after evaporation of residual acid ashing. Ash and
Ammonium acetate dissolved cadmium tomatoes. If there exists an insoluble silicate, use of hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide are boiled together, conversion to the chloride.
After sample dissolution, a solution of appropriate concentration configured, cadmium hollow cathode lamp as the light source, the wavelength corresponding to the absorbance measurement. According to the same article

4 Reagents
4.1 Analysis of the process, you should use analytical reagent and deionized water or water of equivalent purity.
