This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 29389-2012 "Technical Specification for Determination of Production Performance of Meat Ducks".
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial modifications, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);
b) The basic conditions for determination have been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the.2012 edition);
c) Added items for measuring body shape and appearance, body size at 43 weeks of age and meat quality (see 5.1.1, 5.1.3, 5.2.1 and 5.2.6);
d) Determine the market weight, vitality and feed conversion rate of commercial broiler ducks by sex (see 5.2.2, 5.2.3 and 5.2.4,.2012 edition)

e) Deleted hatching egg sampling (see Chapter 6 of the.2012 edition);
f) The test quantity of commercial meat ducks has been changed (see Chapter 6, Chapter 7 of the.2012 edition);

1 Scope
This document specifies the basic conditions, measurement items, and measurement quantities for measuring production performance of broiler ducks, and describes the measurement methods and verification methods.
This document is applicable to the production performance determination of meat breeder ducks and commercial meat ducks. The production performance determination of Muscovy ducks, semi-Muscovy ducks and mallards can be used as a reference.

4.1 Measurement field
4.1.1 Hygiene
4.1.1.1 The quality of environmental hygiene shall comply with the requirements of NY/T 388.
4.1.1.2 Sewage and waste treatment shall comply with the provisions of HJ/T 81.
4.1.2 Hatchery and Duck House
4.1.2.1 There shall be infrastructure to meet the production performance test requirements of broiler ducks at all stages, including at least a hatchery and a test duck house.
