This document replaces GB/T 22283-2008 "Landrace Breeding Pigs". Compared with GB/T 22283-2008, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes,
In addition to the modifications, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Deleted the content of “Terms and Definitions” (see Chapter 3 of the.2008 edition);
b) Added the content of “Origin and Characteristics” (see Chapter 4);
c) Added the content of “adult weight and body size” (see Chapter 6);
d) The content of "reproductive performance" has been changed (see 7.1, 6.1 of the.2008 edition);
e) The content of "Growth and Development" has been changed (see 7.2, 6.2 of the.2008 edition);
f) The contents of “carcass traits” and “muscle quality” have been changed (see 7.3 and 7.4, 6.3 of the.2008 edition);

1 Scope
This document specifies the origin and characteristics of Landrace breeders, their body shape and appearance, adult weight and size, production performance, and basic requirements for breeding.
Describes the determination method.

3 Terms and definitions
There are no terms or definitions that require definition in this document.
4 Origin and characteristics
Landrace pigs originated in Denmark and are now widely distributed around the world. They have the characteristics of high fertility, fast growth rate and strong adaptability.
5.Body shape and appearance
The Landrace pig has a long body, white fur, and occasionally a few dark spots. It has a small head, a light neck, a narrow nose and a long, large ear that tilts forward or droops.
The line is straight, the hindquarters are well-developed and muscular, the overall appearance is light in front and heavy in the back, the appearance is delicate and the physique is strong. See Appendix A for photos of Landrace pigs.
6 Adult weight and size
Adult boars (23-25 months old) weigh no less than 280.0 kg, are no less than 155.0 cm long, no less than 85.0 cm tall, and have a chest of no less than 100 kg.
The circumference of an adult sow (third litter, two months of gestation) shall not be less than 150.0cm; the weight of an adult sow (third litter, two months of gestation) shall not be less than 210.0kg, the length of the sow shall not be less than 140.0cm, and the height of the sow shall not be less than 150.0cm.
Less than 80.0cm, chest circumference not less than 135.0cm.
7 Production performance
7.1 Reproductive performance
The suitable age for boars is not less than 240 days, and the weight is not less than 140 kg; the suitable age for sows is 230-250 days, and the weight is not less than 130 kg.
