Magnesium and magnesium alloy die-casting flaw term
1 Scope
This standard specifies the magnesium and magnesium alloy die-casting products in the definition of common defects, features.
This standard applies to magnesium and magnesium alloy die-casting defect analysis and judgment.
2 Definition of Defects and features
2.1
Deformation distortion
Due to other causes external shape and size of the casting or the occurrence of local deformation of the whole, does not match with the requirements (as shown in Figure 1).
Figure 1 Deformation
2.2
Oversize dimensionbeyondthespecification
Refers to the range of dimensions exceeds the tolerances allowed.
2.3
Wrong type shift
In the casting die casting process, due to the stationary die and the movable die are staggered in the parting line, relative displacement occurs.
2.4
Core shift coreshift
Due to the location and design of the core in the die-casting mold cavity formed does not meet the requirements of the position shift.
2.5
Fleshy metalicprojection
Due to the inner wall of the mold cavity recess lead to an irregular shape of the projecting portion casting surface (Figure 2).
