5 Inspection Rules
5.1 Inspection and acceptance
5.1.1 The sheets shall be inspected by the supplier, ensure the sheet quality to
conform to the provisions of this Standard and order (or contract), and fill in the quality
certificate.
5.1.2 The purchaser shall re-inspect the sheets according to this Standard after
receiving the sheets. If the inspection results don’t comply with the requirements of
this Standard and order (or contract), it shall be submitted to the supplier in written
form, and be settled through the consultation between the supplier and purchaser.
The objection on the appearance quality and dimension tolerance shall be submitted
within 1 month since the date of receipt of the sheets; while the objection on other
performances shall be submitted within 3 months since the date of receipt of the
sheets. If arbitration is required, it can be entrusted to the organization approved by
the supplier and purchaser to conduct, and carry out common sampling against the
purchaser.
5.2 Batch
The sheets shall be submitted in batches; each batch shall consist of the same state
and specification of the sheets.
5.3 Weighing
The sheet shall be weighed by weight-check.
5.4 Inspection items
Each batch of sheets shall be inspected the chemical compositions, dimension
tolerance, mechanical properties, bending properties, and appearance quality before
they leave the factory.
5.5 Sampling
The sampling of the sheets shall conform to the provisions of Table 8.
such batch of sheets shall be judged as disqualified. The supplier is allowed to inspect
the sheets piece by piece through the consultation between the supplier and
purchaser, and the qualified sheets can be delivered. The supplier is also allowed to
repeat the heat treatment, and conduct the re-sampling inspection.
5.6.5 If the appearance quality of any sheet is disqualified, then such piece of sheet
can be judged as disqualified.
6 Marks, Package, Transportation, Storage, and
Quality Certificate
6.1 Marks
The marks of the sheets shall conform to the provisions of GB/T 3199.
