This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 28991-2012 "Camellia Camellia Seed Breeding Technology".
Compared with GB/T 28991-2012, the main technical changes of this standard are as follows.
---Added the requirements for the selection indexes of Multi-tooth Red Camellia, Southwest Red Camellia, Gaozhou Camellia, and Weining Short Pillar Tea (see Table 1);
---Added other breeding methods (see 4.3);
---Deleted the limit value of acid value in the main indicators for the selection of common oil-tea camellia and related oil species (see Table 1 in the.2012 edition);
---The length of time for the evaluation of clone traits has been reduced from 4 consecutive years to 3 consecutive years (see Table 1 and 4.4.2.2, 4.4.2.3,.2012 edition 6.3);
---Related methods for family determination have been deleted (see 6.2 of the.2012 edition);
--- Refinement of the regional test method (see 4.5, Chapter 7 of the.2012 edition).

3 Terms and definitions

Oil-teacamelia
The general term for oil-used species with high oil content in seeds of Camellia and economic cultivation value.
Note. Cameliaoleifera (Cameliaoleifera) is the main product, including C.meiocarpa, C.chekiangoleosa, and Vietnamese oil.
