This document replaces GB 28478-2012 "Safety performance requirements for outdoor leisure furniture - Tables and chairs" and is consistent with GB 28478-2012.
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2012 edition);
b) Deleted the terms and definitions of “parts accessible during use” (see 3.1 of the.2012 edition), “automatic locking mechanism” (see

1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, use, and use of camping, household and commercial outdoor tables (tables), chairs (stools) for adults.
Instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage, and the corresponding test methods are described.
This document applies to quality control during the design, production, installation and sales of outdoor tables and chairs for adults.
This document does not apply to the material design/structure or manufacturing process of outdoor tables and chairs, electrical safety, castors, tilt mechanisms and seat height.
The durability of the adjustment mechanism does not apply to removable upholstered parts and coverings and permanently fixed furniture.
