Heat-resistant insulating paint testing procedures for electric strength method
1 Scope
This standard specifies a method for determining the electrically insulating heat-resistant paint. This method is by measuring the heat insulating paint coated on a glass cloth
Electric strength before and after aging to determine its heat resistance.
The criteria used to assess the temperature index, in order to determine the applicability of electrical insulating varnishes in the electrical system.

3 Overview
3.1 standard used to determine the retention rate after coating on the glass paint cloth high temperature aging electrical strength. In the evaluation of the electrical equipment insulating paint
Prepare for the applicability of its physical and chemical properties such as hardness, bond strength, solvent resistance and thermoplastic flowability is equally important, but these properties
Can not assessed within the scope of this test method, test methods other applications were evaluated.
Effect of Electrical Insulating Varnish life is a major factor of thermal degradation due to thermal degradation of the varnish brittle, various operating conditions such as moisture and vibration
It will cause damage to electrical equipment, an insulating paint only if it remains intact when the physical and electrical properties in order to effectively protect electrical
equipment.
Paint thermal deterioration lead to changes in the performance of these changes may include loss of quality, porosity, cracking, embrittlement and other mechanical properties
Loss. Thermal degradation of paint fall through to check the electrical strength. Therefore, this test method uses electric intensity as a failure criterion.
Electrical insulating varnish in use due to vibration and thermal expansion and subjected to bending, whereby the functional assay would include bending and extending insulated.
3.2 standard recommends two approaches.
Method Ⅰ --- designed so that the outer surface of the lacquer system is subjected to about 2%, hyperbolic electrode extends. This is a simulation of paint may be in use
It will suffer by bending.
Method Ⅱ --- plate electrode system. This method is only the impact of thermal deterioration of the sample from the bending method Ⅰ, in determining
When the thermal aging process of electrical showing weakness, no additional mechanical extension of.
The test results indicate whether the two methods of bending strength of the electrical nature of the impact of aging.
3.3 Standard samples specified period in a high temperature oven aging, then remove from the oven and, after cooling electrical strength test, each
