Introduction
In the process of analyzing the surface roughness characteristic information of the product, the filter model, filter parameters, filter transmission characteristics, surface
There is no consistent standard specification for the separation, extraction and reconstruction of the long-wave and short-wave components of the profile, and the treatment of the end effect.
The concept of GPS consistency specification is required. The focus is on the processing technology and filtering method of surface roughness characteristic information that obeys Gaussian statistical distribution.
This paper proposes a surface roughness filtering specification system for the new generation of GPS.
GB/T 26958 "Product Geometry Technical Specification (GPS) Filter" is based on the new generation of GPS product geometry specification system, providing industrial production
A complete set of filter calculation tools is provided, which can be used together with other calculation tools to ensure the smooth and reasonable progress of product specification and certification.
It is widely used in surface topography measurement and analysis and has become an important analytical tool for existing surface topography measurement instruments.
This system provides unified normative support for the measurement and analysis of surface morphology information in the manufacturing field, and for the development and application standardization of related instruments.
The formulation of standards will help improve the diverse surface morphology analysis tools and enhance the quality, performance and international competitiveness of corporate products.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 26958.1 and ISO /IEC Guide 99 and the following apply to this document.
3.1
Linear Profile Filter linearprofilefilter
The profile filter is a linear function that separates the profile into long-wave and short-wave components.
Note. Assuming F is a function, X and Y are contours, then F as a linear function can be expressed as. F(aX bY) = aF(X) bF(Y).
3.2
No linear contour filter is produced which results in asymmetric contour distortion shifts.
NOTE. Phase correction filters are a special type of linear profile filters, since any linear phase filter can be transformed (simply by shifting the weights)
Function) is a zero-phase filter (a phase correction filter).
3.3
weighting function
The function of the large-scale lateral component is calculated by convolving the surface profile height with this function.
Note 1.For details about convolution, see 4.1.
Note 2.The function used to calculate the center line represents the additional weight of the contour near each point relative to that point. The transmission characteristic of the center line is the Fourier transform of the weight function.
Leaf transformation.
3.4
It represents the attenuation characteristics of the filter for the amplitude of the sinusoidal profile signal, expressed as a function of the relationship between the attenuation and the profile wavelength.
Note. The transfer characteristic is the Fourier transform of the weight function.
