1 Scope
This standard specifies the room 5XXX series aluminum alloy sheet products crystal corrosion susceptibility test methods for measuring the mass loss method.
This standard applies to inter-5XXX series aluminum sheet products - Determination of susceptibility to intergranular corrosion.
2 principle of the method
The 5XXX series aluminum alloy sheet product samples immersed in 30 ℃ of concentrated nitric acid 24h, measuring its mass loss per unit area, and

3 test solution
3.1 Sodium hydroxide solution (ρ50g/L).

4 Test Equipment
4.1 electric heated water bath.

5 Sample
5.1 with a number of test samples should be taken from the same batch or the same heat treatment furnace secondary products.
