3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 18294 (all parts) and GB/T 20162 and established the following terms and definitions apply to this section.
3.1
The adsorbent is placed on top of the space samples, adsorption, enrichment methods flammable liquid volatiles.
3.2
Coconut shell is the most commonly used raw materials, high temperature activated carbon adsorption sheet material.
3.3
With carbon fiber as raw material by high temperature carbonization, activated after the formation of efficient adsorbent fibrous material.
4 Principles and Characteristics
4.1 Principle
The samples into a closed container and heating the container, so that one of flammable liquid residue to the volatile component to the container headspace
After being activated carbon or activated carbon fiber sheet static headspace enrichment, then activated carbon charcoal or activated carbon fiber sheet after taken out by solvent desorption
Desorption obtain a sample can be tested.
4.2 Characteristics
Activated carbon adsorption method has the following characteristics.
--- Not suitable for the extraction of oil of high boiling point substances;
--- Does not destroy the morphology of samples;
--- Large volume of samples can be extracted;
--- Treated by this method samples, solvent extraction method can also be used again.
