3 Principles of the method
In an ultrasonic bath, use dichloromethane to extract the PCBs in the sample, and use a solid phase extraction column (florisil SPE column) to extract
After the eluate is concentrated and fixed to volume, it is separated and determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The peak area is external standard.

4 Reagents or materials
4.1 Standard PCBs (see Appendix A).
4.2 Dichloromethane, chromatographically pure.
4.3 n-hexane, chromatographically pure.
4.4 Mixed solvent of n-hexane-dichloromethane. the volume ratio of n-hexane and dichloromethane is 8.2.
4.5 Flori silica cartridge (SPE column). 1000mg, 6mL.
5 Equipment
5.1 Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS). with EI source.
5.2 Chromatographic column. 5% phenyl methyl polysiloxane stationary phase, 30m×0.25mm×0.25μm, or equivalent.
5.3 Analytical balance. accuracy 0.01mg.
5.4 Ultrasonic generator.
5.5 Extractor. 10mL tube with stopper.
5.6 Centrifuge. 4000r/min.
